Study Purpose
- To help us better understand
- What it is like to be at risk for colon or rectal cancer
- How being at risk may affect your health care decisions
Who can participate?
- 21 years or older with a personal history of one of the following:
- Colon or rectal cancer or polyps
- Family history of colon or rectal cancer or polyps
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Gene mutation associated with hereditary colon or rectal cancer
- Women diagnosed with cancer of the uterus (womb) or ovary before age 60
What does the study involve?
- Being interviewed by telephone once or twice
- Each interview will last about 45 to 60 minutes
- Participants may be eligible to be compensated for their time
